Welcome to the website for the Kashmir Peace Festival!

The Kashmir Peace Festival will be held in Leh, the district headquarters of Ladakh from the 31st July - 1st August 2004. The festival aims to promote peace and goodwill, whilst helping the local economy by injecting some much needed tourist dollars. The festival and all related projects are completely non-profit and have no political motivation.

This site aims to give all interested people a medium through which to gather information regarding the festival and all related projects. Those of you that are interested in the festival itself should check out the Festival page, if you're interested in riding Enfield motorcycles go to The Ride. If you need to know how to make your way to Leh to be a part of the festivities, check out the Getting There page.

04/06/04 - The crew for the Ride are currently gathering...

Hey everybody, things are moving along great. The crew for the Ride are currently gathering goggles, bikes, tools and fuel for the amazing journey from Manali to Srinagar. Many have arrived, a few more to come yet. It's all happening!!!

Anyone wanting to join in should head over to the village of Vashist, that's our meeting point in Manali, I'm sure you'll run into someone who knows the scoop... Hold onto your hats kids, coz we're going on the SICKEST motorcycle adventure of all time!!!

A Documentary of the ride and festival…..

A Film Production team will be joining in on the adventurous fun of the ride and the festival with a full kit bag. They will be filming the crew as they leave Manali and head off through the hills making their way to Leh.

They will then stay with the crew until the end of the festival, which will give them plenty of time to gather lots of material to produce the Documentary film. More details soon.....
